papercuts is the dream pop project of the American jason quever. created in a commune in the California, jason early revealed himself to be a small single-born son. in 2001 produced not the way of cass maccombs and collaborated with artists such as vetiver, skygreen leopards and casiotone. three years in a row launches the first long term as papercuts, to which the acclaimed can't go back (2007) and you can have what you want (2009).
back now with fading parade, one of the biggest dream-pop albums in recent years. mellotrons, moogs, 12-string guitars and a mixed recording method, ora analog, ora digital, unite to create a small kraut-indie-pop theater, full of simple and repeatable songs and textures.
