unlike its predecessors, write about love was produced in relatively little time. the adventure began in February this year in glasgow, where the band went through a period of writing and pre-production. A trip a la followed for recording session with tony hoffer (producer of the life pursuit) in the sound factory studio b and mixes in early June.

addressed more fluidly, write about love also has the particularity of counting on guests of weight: norah jones gives voice to the themes little lou, ugly jack and prophet john; the actress carey mulligan sings on the title theme write about love and the strings are in charge of the section quartet de la.

Artist

Belle & Sebastian is an indie pop band that formed in Glasgow, Scotland in January 1996.

"Belle et Sébastien" is a novel by Cécile Aubry about a boy (Sébastien) and his Pyrénées mountain dog (Belle). The novel became famous and a popular children's television series in France in the late-1960s, and then internationally in the early-1970s.

In October 2014 the band reissued all 11 of their releases, up to that point, under the series heading "It Could Have Been A Brilliant Career", taken from the song with the same name that appeared on The Boy With The Arab Strap.
