This 18-themed release marks its first collection of singles in cd format, covering the entire recorded material of the singer. the themes are presented chronologically, covering the 1975 periods (his debut album, horses, with glory and ?free money?) until 2007 (twelve, with his version of ?smells like teen spirit? of nirvana.)

the music present in outside society was recently remastered by the award-winning engineer greg calbi and tony shanahan, element of the smith skati band. the cd booklet will include brief memories on each theme composed of patti, which also personally supervised the choices.

the release of outside society culminates the year and a half of praise and adulation by critics regarding the publication of their best-seller of the new york teams, non-fiction work, titled jot kids (ecco, January 2010.)
